The Watcher

Oh, how can I choose One,

love God or the Devil,

when God says "Love thy enemy",

but my enemy... is 'Evil'?

See, I can't give love to Evil,

without giving Good to hate;

so who will save my soul,

before it's too damn late?

And what now is my soul,

that it need saving at all?

If I was born One and free,

into what then did I fall?

Oh, how can I choose One,

and leave the other unchosen?

If 'he' takes all the fire,

then 'she' winds up frozen.

Mother and Father,

or Father and Son?

Mother and Daughter,

Family... or One?

Lover and Mistress,

or Husband and Wife?

Parents and Children,

for Death or for Life?

The Sun of my World,

I choose to be,

and the Stars around me,

I choose to see.

But the Stars are the Suns,

of the Worlds they fear;

and when Stars fall from heaven,

they find themselves here.

See I can't choose just One,

when I love the others I see;

and I can't choose them either,

because I love ME.

How then do I choose,

of the Devil and God again?

I want what comes with pleasure,

but I NEED what comes from pain.

So here I lay in wonder,

watching what the Stars will do;

this mid-eleventh hour,

I'm here to look at You.

The Devil or God,

oh, whose is 'the Voice'?

I'm here to watch YOU choose,

because I've already made my choice.

Zero or Two,

Death or the Sun;

I need... I want them BOTH=

So I killed the Chosen ONE.
